We have assisted Beerenberg AS with the development of a tool for planning and modeling scaffolding. The 3D tool allows Beerenberg to build scaffolding directly on existing 3D models. With the help of our digital twin, Beerenberg gets a complete overview of the resources needed to do the job, which in turn makes their work much more efficient.
The tool offers many advantages for Beerenberg, both in terms of logistics and illustrating to customers how Beerenberg plans to carry out the task, but also for partners who will set up the scaffolding. By digitizing the planning of scaffolding, Beerenberg has gained a competitive advantage in the market and the tool has attracted interest from several quarters.
During the event Stillasdagene in 2019, Raymond Teigland showed off the 3D model of the tool that is used internally in Beerenberg for both offshore and onshore installations. Hear more about how such models help them in the video below.
