Glamox Connect is an intelligent lighting management system (LMS) that gives users the opportunity to both control and monitor their lighting installations digitally. A web app shows the building's energy consumption and environmental footprint, in addition to data for maintenance. The user can control the light by creating automated scenes or switch on lighting directly for different rooms, floors or areas.
The system also makes it possible to monitor emergency lights and maintain them in accordance with requirements and regulations. Tests can be run and reports generated for submission to the authorities directly from the web application.

Axbit was involved from the very beginning of the project and collaborated with Glamox to find out how the lighting control should work technically, and whether it was even possible to implement. This through a so-called "Proof of Concept". The aim was to figure out if it was appropriate to go ahead with the concept and create an actual product.
Later, Axbit contributed with both development and UX expertise to develop what would become Glamox Connect. We carried out workshops and insight work together with the customer and set up a first version of the web app, a so-called MVP (minimal viable product).
